Continuous Enhancement of IAAR Experts Pool

On February 18, 2022, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) held a webinar on preparing experts for the External Expert Panel visit to educational organisations. The moderators were Timur Kanapyanov, IAAR Deputy General Director for International Cooperation and Gulfiya Nazyrova, Project Manager for Review Panel Members and Andrey Bratsikhin, IAAR I Category Expert, Rector of Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy (Izhevsk, Russian Federation).
The webinar participants were representatives of the academic community of Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
In the theoretical part of the webinar, special attention was paid to the internal quality assurance system, and ESG 1.3 Student-centred learning, teaching and assessment, and ESG 1.4 Student admission, progression, recognition and certification. The practical part of the webinar consisted of working with cases, evaluating the compliance of slef-assessment report of the educational organisation with IAAR standards and criteria for accreditation, developing a review with recommendations and a role play with focus groups.
It should be noted that IAAR training webinar program consists of two stages. The second stage includes the practical work of the expert. Experts who have passed IAAR webinar full programme are allowed to the second stage of training.
