The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating become the first and only organization in Central Asia which successfully pass the international audit of the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence and was awarded the IREG Seal of Approval “IREG Approved”. This status confirms that the methodology of the ranking of HEIs, the procedures for its preparation and presentation of the results, meets international quality standards.

IREG is one of the most respected rating organizations in the world. Recognition of IREG is the integration of the IAAR into the international expert community, which is the guarantor of the quality of the ranking processes of educational institutions.
The inclusion of the “IAAR Rating” in the IREG Observatory was one of the strategic tasks of our agency, and to obtain this status, the IAAR passed a multi-stage assessment of its activities conducted by leading experts from the IREG Observatory.
The IAAR  rating of HEIs is based on compliance with Berlin principles such as transparency, objectivity, verifiability and accessibility of information sources. The IAAR  rating is focused on determining the quality of educational programs in the areas of personnel training and increasing the competitiveness of HEIs.
