On August 15, 2019, as part of the August conference of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, IAAR representatives took part in the work of the theme platform for scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education “Integration of Higher Education and Science”, which was held at the National Center for Biotechnology in the city of Nur-Sultan. The plenary session was moderated by the Vice-Minister of the MES of the RK, Zhakypova F.N., speakerswere: First Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency Bektenov O.A., Vice-Minister of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry Ospanov A.E. Rectors and vice-rectors of universities, directors of research institutes, scientists and employers made presentations at the Panel Sessions: “Innovative Scientific Ecosystem: Intellectual Potential, Priorities, Effectiveness” and “Universities. Transformation”. The meeting discussed issues of improving the quality of education, improving the education system, developing international cooperation and integration into world science, innovations in education and modern methods of project management.

On August 16, 2019, IAAR employees took part in the Plenary meeting of the August conference “Bіlіm jáne Ǵylym!” in the Palace of Independence. The President of the country Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aymagambetov A.K., spoke at the conference. The pedagogical community focused on the issues of further modernization of all levels of the education system and new approaches to education management.
