On December 8, 2017 Independent Agency of Accreditation and Rating and the Narkhoz University are hosting the «Central Asian Forum on Quality Assurance» in Almaty city, The Forum is considered the pressing issues of improving the quality and competitiveness of higher education in Kazakhstan with regard to world standards.

Deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and of its subordinate organizations, Kazakhstan and foreign universities, international experts in higher education and science, employers and students took part at the Forum. More than 400 persons attended the Forum, including foreign guests from 11 countries (Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Russia, Latvia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and representatives of the European Union).

The main goal of the Central Asian Forum is to create an international dialogue platform on quality assurance in education that promotes the extensive use of best practices in strategic planning, design and monitoring of educational programs, academic mobility, development of cooperation between higher education institutions (HEIs), and formation of a professional community on external assessment.

Participants of the Forum noted the high level of the event conducting and proposed organize such forum annually. That will have a positive impact on the quality assurance of educational services.
