ENQA General Assembly in Astana

On October 18-19, 2018, the 9th General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) was held in Astana. The General Assembly was attended by 55 organizations working in the field of accreditation and quality assurance, from 36 countries of the European Higher Education Area.
The Director Alina Zhumagulova and the Manager of International Projects and Public Relations Timur Kanapyanov represented the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating in the work of the General Assembly.
The General Assembly discussed the development of quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area, as well as the quality assurance of E-Learning. In the afternoon, poster sessions on the best practices used by ENQA members (full membership) were held.
The second day program included discussions on current and future issues: a report on the work results, election of new members of the ENQA Board, discussion of the organization’s development plans, holding of the ENQA Forum and General Assembly in 2019, and other organizational issues of the Association.
