On February 11, 2026, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), jointly with the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, held an international seminar in Dushanbe on the topic: “Trends in the Development of Science in the Context of Digitalization and Globalization.” The seminar was hosted by the National University, one of Tajikistan’s leading universities.

The welcoming remarks were delivered by the Chairman of the HAC under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences Davlatzoda Saifiddin Khairiddin, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

The General Director of the IAAR, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Alina Zhumagulova, delivered a presentation entitled “Enhancing the Education Quality: Trends and New Horizons,” where she shared IAAR’s experience in international accreditation. The impact of international standards on ensuring the quality of the scientific and educational environment was presented by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Advisor to IAAR, Olga Yanovskaya.

More than 350 participants attended the international seminar, including representatives of the HAC under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Agency for Supervision in Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, specialized academies, rectors and vice-rectors of higher education institutions, heads of research institutes, and members of the academic community of Tajikistan.

At the conclusion of the seminar, all participants were awarded international certificates.
