IAAR conducted an external audit of 18 educational programmes

From 31 March to 3 April 2026, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) conducted an external audit of 18 educational programmes delivered by the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences, the Institute of Digital Sciences and Artificial Intelligence, the Institute of Natural Sciences, the Higher School of Journalism and Social Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Transport and Energy and the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Within the framework of the visit programme, the External Expert Panel conducted an inspection of the material and technical infrastructure and the educational and laboratory facilities of the accredited programmes, attended classes, and visited internship bases. In addition, the experts carried out a comprehensive analysis of the organisation of the educational process, the internal quality assurance system, and research activities.
At the final meeting with the university staff, the Chair of the Panel, IAAR international expert Maris Klavins, Dr. habil. chem., Professor of the University of Latvia presented the preliminary results of the audit, highlighting the achievements of the university and expressing wishes for its further development and effective implementation of its mission.
