IAAR participated in the ENQA General Assembly in Brussels, Belgium

On October 23-24, 2025, the General Director of IAAR, A.B. Zhumagulova, and the Project Manager for International Cooperation, T.B. Tursynbaev, took part in the ENQA General Assembly held in Brussels (Belgium). The event was organised in cooperation with the Flemish Universities and Colleges Council (VLUHR QA) and the Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (AEQES) to discuss current trends, challenges and future directions in the development of quality assurance in higher education.
The General Assembly brought together ENQA members, experts, and quality assurance experts from across the European Area participated in the ENQA General Assembly.
The programme included a series of plenary and parallel sessions dedicated to such topics as the quality assurance as a key driver for the development of higher education within the European Higher Education Area, the revision and global impact of the ESG, stakeholders engagement in external QA processes, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in the work of QAA.
