IAAR participated in the International Quality Assurance Forum in Uzbekistan

On September 19–20, 2025, the 1st International Forum on Quality Assurance was held in Uzbekistan, with the participation of the General Director of IAAR – A.B.Zhumagulova, and Adviser – О.A.Yanovskaya.
Аt the opening of the Forum, welcoming speeches were delivered by: the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan – K. Sharipov, the President of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) – Stephan Lauwick, and the President of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) – Vicki Stoot. The moderator of the Panel Discussion was a member of INQAAHE – Dr. Olgun Cicek. Among the participants was also the Director of the Dutch Inspectorate of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (Netherlands) – Erik Martijnse, along with other international representatives.
The General Director – A.B. Zhumagulova shared IAAR’s experience in the Central Asian countries, spoke about the importance of quality assurance in education, modern trends and new approaches in QA, as well as the role of cross-border accreditation in the context of transformation of the educational sphere.
