On October 31, 2025, the General Director of IAAR, Dr. Alina Zhumagulova, took part in the International Forum of strategic partners titled “Kazakhstan - the Territory of Academic Knowledge,” organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana.  

At the Plenary Session of the International Forum, the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, emphasized the importance of introducing digital competencies and artificial intelligence for the development of science and the education system. Within the framework of the forum, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, spoke about the prospects of the education system and the opportunities for further joint development with international partners.      

In the afternoon, a meeting of the Council of strategic partners was held, where international partners, representatives of universities and heads of higher education institutions from the United Kingdom, Russia, China, South Korea, and Kazakhstan presented their institutions and spoke about the activities of their branches in Kazakhstan.

The Forum was attended by rectors and vice-rectors of universities and branches of foreign higher education institutions, heads of research institutes, representatives of accreditation bodies, and experts in the field of science and higher education.

The Forum became a key platform for exchanging best practices, discussing global trends, and developing joint solutions in the field of further advancement of higher education and science.
