IAAR took part in seminar titled “Scientific Journals of Kazakhstan: Quality, Management, and International Integration”

On January 20, 2026, was held a republican seminar titled “Scientific Journals of Kazakhstan: Quality, Management, and International Integration”, organised by the Science and Higher Education Quality Assurance Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at Karagandy Buketov National Research University. The seminar was attended by Olga Yanovskaya, Advisor to the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, and Perizat Konusova, Head of the Information and Analytical Project.
The event addressed current issues related to improving the quality of scientific journals, improving editorial and publishing processes, ensuring compliance with international standards, and expanding the international integration of Kazakhstani scientific publications into the global scientific and educational space.
More than 150 editors and journal staff, as well as representatives of the academic community from universities across the country, actively participated in the seminar both in person and online.
