IAAR participated in the ceremony of awarding international accreditation certificates to Baku Engineering University

On April 9-10, General Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), Alina Zhumagulova, and Advisor of the agency, Olga Yanovskaya had a business visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan. As part of the visit, a formal ceremony of awarding international accreditation certificates of Baku Engineering University was held.
According to the results of an external assessment of the education quality, 6 educational programmes of the university received international IAAR accreditation. Certificates confirming the compliance of the programmes with international educational quality standards were officially presented to the leadership of Baku Engineering University.
During the meeting, IAAR representatives congratulated the university on its successful completion of accreditation and noted the high level of organisation of the educational process, as well as the university's commitment to continuous improvement and development.
The Baku Engineering University leadership expressed gratitude to the IAAR experts and leadership for their professional assessment and constructive recommendations, which will contribute to the further development of educational programs and increase their competitiveness at the international level.
The visit of IAAR representatives was an important step in strengthening international cooperation in the field of quality assurance of higher education and confirming the commitment of educational organisations to comply with international standards.
