IAAR organised and conducted a free training seminar on training international experts

On September 23, 2025, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating organised and conducted a free training seminar on training international experts for visits as part of the External expert commissions in secondary education organisations. The seminar was attended by school principals, their deputies, teachers, methodologists, and representatives of foreign educational organisations.
During the seminar, international standards and criteria for accreditation, as well as best practices for external evaluation of schools, were discussed in detail. The speakers covered a wide range of issues, from the role of international accreditation as a mechanism for ensuring the quality of education to the integration of global programs and standards with the national State educational standard.
The seminar paid special attention to the role of an expert as a key figure in the accreditation process, as well as an overview of international standards, basic requirements and rules. The training seminar has become an effective platform for developing the competencies of future experts. The seminar participants from 9 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan received both a theoretical basis and practical skills and tools that will help them perform expert functions efficiently in accordance with international approaches to external school assessment. At the end of the training seminar, all participants received certificates.
