Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) was recognized by Ministry of Education and Science оf the Kyrgyz Republic as agency that successfully realized strategic policy in the field of quality assurance through conduction of independent accreditation and ranking research, and also as a full member of ENQА and IREQ.

IAAR systematically interact with Ministry of Education and Science оf the Kyrgyz Republic, organize activities on international accreditation and ranking of HEIs.

On 21-22 October 2017 Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating organized seminar for representatives of HEIs «International accreditation and ranking research of IAAR in the Kyrgyz Republic» in I. Razzakov Polytechnic University, Bishkek (based in 1954).

Seminar was organized to represent systemic material on conducting international accreditation and introduce guidelines and methodology of the IAAR ranking to higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science оf the Kyrgyz Republic Kudayberdi Gaparalievich Kozhobekov opened the seminar.

Program of seminar included issues on quality assurance of higher and postgraduated education system, among them:

✓ Role of the Independent Agency in quality assurance of education.

✓ Accreditation procedure in educational organization.

✓ Metidology of ranking of HEIs (Global, international and national ranking).

In the seminar IAAR proposed to discussion criteria of ranking of HEIs in the Kyrgyz Republic.
