С 26 по 30 августа 2017 года в г. Хельсинки (Финляндия) проходит крупнейшее событие в области развития качества медицинского образования – ежегодная международная конференция AMEE 2017.

Главным организатором выступила Ассоциация по медицинскому образованию в Европе (АМЕЕ), основанная в 1972 году, и которая является диалоговой площадкой для медицинских преподавателей, студентов и стейкхолдеров по совершенствованию национальных ассоциаций по вопросам медицинского образования. AMEE является региональной ассоциацией Всемирной федерации медицинского образования (ВФМО) и членом Исполнительного совета ВФМО.

On August 26-30, 2017 in Helsinki (Finland) took place the annual international conference AMEE-2017. That is a major event in the field of quality development of medical education.

The main organizer was the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) founded in 1972. AMEE is a platform for dialogue among medicine teachers, students and stakeholders to improve national associations for medical education. AMEE is the regional association of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) and a member of the WFME Executive Council.

AThe AMEE conference attracts over 3000 international delegates regularly. The conference is now established as the key meeting for all involved in healthcare, the place to network with others, to exchange ideas and innovation in medical education.

In the plenary session and parallel chambers participated the IAAR director Zhumagulova A.B. and the project manager Nurakhmetova A.

An intense programme of conference included:

- Plenary: Health Professions Faculty in the 21th Century: Challenges and Opportunities;

- Closing Plenary on Affirming Global Connections and Diversity in Faculty Development: The Way Forward;

- Presentations on Interprofessional education, Tensions between global trends and local challenges in medical education; Learning analytics and big data, etc.

- Parallel sessions (“Features of an Adaptive Learning Curriculum for Medical Education”, “Developing Simulation: Setting up a simulation learning environment”, etc.);

- AMEE-Essential Skills in Medical Education Courses.
