WFME World Conference "Quality Assurance in Medical Education in the 21st Century"

On April 7–10, 2019, the 2019 WFME World Conference "Quality Assurance in Medical Education in the 21st Century" was held in Seoul, Korea, which was attended by representatives of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR). Professor David Gordon, President of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), addressed the conference with a welcoming speech. The Conference was attended by representatives from 56 countries. The main speakers of the World Conference were the Presidents and the first leaders of the Accreditation Associations, Agencies and organizations on quality assurance o from Canada, USA, Japan, Korea, Great Britain, France, Australia, China, Turkey, Iran. The focus of the World Conference was to discuss the development of medical education, the presentation of the best accreditation practices and the further improvement of the quality of educational programs of medical universities.
