IAAR participated in ENQA General Assembly (Sèvres, France) The 8th General Assembly of European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) took place in Sèvres, France, on 26-27 October 2017. In the Assembly participated 118 representatives of Agencies for Quality Assurance of European Higher Education space. Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating was represented by Director Zhumagulova A.B. and Manager of International Projects and Public Relations Kanapyanov T.E.

Main topics on the Assembly were changing landscapes of higher education in a world, advantages and disadvantages of specialized and institutional accreditation and its future.

Discussion on the ENQA message and report to the Ministerial Conference of the Bologna Process that will take place in Paris on May, 2018 was also in the agenda. All members of ENQA participated in the discussion on the ENQA report and suggested many constructive proposals.

In the Assembly poster sessions «Changes and developments in quality assurance» were organized. There such European Agencies as HCERES, QQI, CTI, FINEEC, AEQES, EKKA, NVAO clearly demonstrated new beginnings and existing problems within their Agencies.

Programme of the second day included discussion on the current issues: activity report, planning of activities for next year, election of President and new members of ENQA Board, обсуждение prospects for developing the organization, holding the Forum and ENQA General Assembly in 2018 and others organizational matters.
