A New Stage in the Development of International Cooperation in School Accreditation
28.09.2026

On 26 August 2026, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) received recognition from the International Council Advancing Independent School Accreditation (ICAISA).
ICAISA is an international non-profit organisation that brings together accreditation bodies in the field of school education. The Council develops and upholds standards for accreditation bodies, supporting quality assurance and the continuous improvement of independent and international schools worldwide.
Recognition by ICAISA marks an expansion of IAAR’s international presence and opens up additional opportunities for professional dialogue with the international school accreditation community. Participation in the ICAISA professional community provides opportunities to exchange best practices, adopt international approaches to quality assessment, receive advisory support, and further strengthen the Agency’s expert capacity.
This milestone reflects IAAR’s ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation, enhance accreditation practices, and develop quality assurance mechanisms across different levels of the education system. Engagement with the international professional community contributes to strengthening the Agency’s expertise and broadening its competencies in assessing the quality of school education.
IAAR continues to develop international partnerships, focusing on the exchange of global best practices, the adoption of advanced approaches, and the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices in response to current challenges and emerging international trends.
The information has been published on the official ICAISA website.
