Chair of the Engineering and Technical Sciences Committee visited the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating

On May 26, 2016 Igor Emri, Chair of the Engineering and Technical Sciences Committee visited Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR). Igor Emri is Europe's leading specialist in the field of mechanics of materials, winner of the Golden Badge (Russia), Laza (US) prize and other awards from authoritative scientific organizations in the US, Europe and the CIS. He is the author of over 150 scientific publications and winner of 23 international, American and European patents. The meeting was held with the participation of the IAAR Director Alina Zhumagulova and Scientific Advisor Rimma Seidakhmetova, during which they discussed issues of cooperation, problems and prospects of development of the system of independent assessment of education quality in Kazakhstan, etc. IAAR Director described some details of the mission and strategic goals of the Agency, as well as the IAAR’s policy in the field of quality assurance.
