Enlarged meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 15, 2019, representatives of the IAAR took part in an enlarged meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was attended by Deputies of the Senate of Parliament: D. Nazarbayeva. and B.S. Aitimova, who in her speech addressed issues related to the introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" on the expansion of academic and managerial independence of higher education institutions. Minister of Education and Science Yerlan Sagadiyev made a report on the “Outcomes of the MES RK for 2018 and the tasks for 2019”, where he noted the improvement of some indicators of the education and science system. He stopped on the issues of improving pre-school, secondary and higher education.
