Chairman of the Expert Council of Higher Education Skiba M.A. and the manager of project for institutional and specialized accreditation of higher education institutions of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating participated in the regional seminar “The Role of Accreditation in Quality Assurance in Higher Education Institutions” under the Erasmus+ program.
The seminar to discuss topical issues on quality assurance of higher and postgraduate education, taking into account the ESG 2015 and identify key areas for further cooperation in the development of a quality culture, united experts from Spain, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation.
The seminar was opened with welcome address by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich.
The specifics of the activities of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education were presented by ENQA Director Maria Kelo.
The legislative framework regulating accreditation in Kazakhstan, the quality assurance system of the Independent Agencyfor Accreditation and Rating were presented by Skiba M.A.
