Seminar on Training IAAR Experts for the Visit of the External Expert Panel (EEP) to Educational Organisations

On 23 October 2025, IAAR conducted a seminar on training experts of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating for the visit of the EEP to educational organisations. The moderators were Gulfiya Nazyrova, PhD in Economics, Project Manager for Institutional and Programme Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions, and Zhulduz Auezhanova, Project Manager for the Accreditation of Technical and Vocational Education Organisations..
At the seminar, based on the ESG quality assurance standards and student-centred learning, the principles and stages of conducting international accreditation of educational organisations/educational programmes were considered, as well as the requirements for IAAR expert activities and the role of experts as part of the EEP. In an interactive format, case work was carried out on the following topics: understanding IAAR standards and criteria for programme accreditation; working with self-assessment reports of educational organisations; and developing recommendations for improvement. The case work enabled future experts to develop the necessary skills and competencies to work as IAAR experts.
