Seminar-training on technology of national ranking for HEIs' demand in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (further IAAR) annually conducts an independent rating research, the results of which are published in the newspaper "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" and on the official website www.iaar.kz.
On January 19, 2018 on basis of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, yet another training seminar was held for vice-rectors, heads of structural units and other responsible persons to participate in ranking researches on the technology of the national ranking for higher education institutions’ demand.
The seminar-training was attended by representatives of more than 50 organizations of higher and postgraduate education.
Within the framework of the seminar-training the following issues were considered:
- the updated system of HEIs’ ranking on the methodology of the IAAR;
- technology of national ranking for HEIs’ demand in the directions and levels of specialists training.
The workshop on the correct electronic filling of the program allowed participants to actively discuss key ranking parameters in accordance with the levels of training of specialists.
Participants, noting the importance of ranking research in increasing competitiveness and growing export potential of educational services, expressed gratitude to the IAAR for the systemic organization of events on ranking research.
