On October 11, 2017 webinar on internal quality assurance of higher education was held in S.Seifullin Kazakh AgroTechnical University with the participation of the Center for the Bologna process and academic mobility, heads of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating and representatives of the Kazakhstan higher education institutions. A.A. Nurmagambetov opened the webinar with a presentation about study of internal quality assurance systems. Material on specifics of internal system of education quality assurance in Kazakhstan higher education institutions presented bycouncillor of the IAAR director Yanovskaya O.A. has attractedmanagers. We might also note a meaningful report of Chairman of the IAAR Expert Council, Advisor of Rector of the Narxoz University M.A. Skiba about legal and regulatory support of internal quality assurance system in Kazakhstan as part of the Bologna process. During the webinar were discussed problems of internal quality assurance of education in Kazakhstan identified by the IAAR and presented by the IAAR manager of accreditation project G.B. Niyazova. One of the key subjects of the discussion was the experience in developing internal quality assurance system of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University which was presented by director of the Development andAcademic Policy Department of this university. Representatives of higher education institutions were also interested in improvement of internal quality assurance system through the implementation of results of IQAT project which was offered to discussion by director of the Department of S.Seifullin KazATU N.A.Serekpaev.

Webinar was ended with discussion and adoption of the recommendations on improvement of internal quality assurance of higher education in Kazakhstan.
