XII European Quality Assurance Forum (2017 EQAF)

On November 23-25, 2017 Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating Zhumagulova A.B. and Chairmen of the Expert Council for Higher Education of the IAAR Skiba M.A. participated in the 12th European Quality Assurance Forum hosted by the University of Latvia, Riga.
Annually European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) provided a platform for discussion, professional development and exchange of experience among main stakeholders in quality assurance. In particular, Forum brings together leaders and staff on quality assurance from higher education institutions, students, accreditation agencies and researchers working in the field higher education and quality.
Mix of plenary and parallel sessions of the 2017 EQAF «Responsible QA: committing to impact» combined practice-oriented or research-based discussions. Moreover, discussion program continued in the format of different sessions and workshops with presentations of current developments in quality assurance.
Main speakers were senior management of the EQAF, ENQA, EQAR, representatives of the EUA (European University Association), EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education) and many others.
