IAAR Supervisory Board meeting, 7 november 2025

On February 7, 2025, a meeting of the IAAR Supervisory Board (SB) was held, which was attended by the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Byrganym Aitimova, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Senators under the Senate of the Parliament of the Kazakhstan Republic, holding the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, and the members of the Supervisory Board:
1.Igor Emri - President of the Slovenian Branch of the International Academy of Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Slovenia.
2.Karinova Sholpan - Member of the National Commission on Women’s Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan Republic.
3.Gaipov Zulfukhar - Director of the Institute of Management of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kazakhstan Republic, Doctor of Political Sciences.
4. Sara Kanafina - Master’s student in the Public Health program at the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine.
The General Director of IAAR, A.B. Zhumagulova presented the draft Self-Evaluation Report prepared for submission to the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) for approval.
The meeting of the Supervisory Board also considered strategic issues of implementing digital technologies into IAAR's activities, improving the skills and competencies of employees, and risk management, etc.
