Meeting of the SAGRIS Project Steering Committee

On May 12, 2020, the next Meeting of the SAGRIS Project Steering Committee was held online on the Zoom platform. The meeting was attended by representatives of all project partners. The meeting of the Steering Committee was preceded by an online seminar held on May 5, 2020 by the project coordinator from the University of Nürtingen-Geislingen Anna Borsuk and the Kazakh partners of the SAGRIS.

At the beginning of the meeting, the representative of the grant holder, Professor Heinrich Schüle, made a welcoming speech. He noted that because of restrictive measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Kick-Off Meeeting in Ulan-Ude, Russia, scheduled for early May, had to be canceled and all project activities were transferred to online format. However, despite the difficulties, the project is being implemented on time.

At the Committee meeting, a review of the activities carried out from February to May was carried out, the project management was discussed (in particular, the study and signing of a partnership agreement), a situational analysis of doctoral education in universities in Europe, Russia and Kazakhstan, a strategy for disseminating project results, a quality control plan and attracting external experts, planning activities for the development of SAGRIS modules, agreeing on methodological approaches in developing SAGRIS modules in accordance with the European and national qualifications framework, discussing the results of project monitoring by the national Erasmus office of Russia and others.
