There was a seminar on the theme: "The role of student in external quality assessment" to educate students the accreditation procedures in L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University on May 4, 2016.
The seminar training was held by director of the center "Management in Education" of Narxoz University, the Chairman of the IAAR Expert Council - Skiba Marina Aleksandrovna. There was a discussion about accreditation procedures in the world and Kazakhstan particularly, and questions about content of the standards and evaluation criterias of the educational quality of the IAAR, as well as, criterias of the IAAR external expert selection, criterias of qualified requirements for experts. There was a discussion of mechanisms for questioning faculty and students during the visit of the external expert committee to the university. As a result of seminar-training, more than 35 students of Astana universities have been certified.
