On February 7, 2025, an extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, in which the IAAR General Director - A. Zhumagulova and Advisor O. Yanovskaya took part.
At the meeting, the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, spoke about the importance of work to improve the education quality and training of highly qualified personnel in the context of the development of artificial intelligence, which will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the international arena and create a competitive educational system.
The Board discussed issues of digital transformation of higher education and science, development of an innovative ecosystem of regional universities and new directions for the development of the state language.
Deputies of the Senate and Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, accreditation agencies, rectors of higher education institutions, heads of research institutes and subordinate organizations of the ministry took part in the work of the Board.
