On February 27, 2023, an official meeting was held between the General Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) Alina Bakytzhanovna Zhumagulova and the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic - Dogdurkul Sharsheevna Kendirbaeva, at which they discussed issues of improving the quality of higher education, modern trends in the development of educational services and the importance of recognition of higher educational institutions diplomas in the international educational space.
At the meeting, General Director A.B. Zhumagulova presented an analysis of the results of an external assessment of higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, noting the positive impact of international accreditation on the quality assurance of education and increasing the competitiveness of educational services, expanding internationalization, academic mobility, as well as the attractiveness of accredited educational programs for foreign applicants and students. Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic D.Sh. Kendirbaeva noted the importance of the mission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating in the quality assurance of education in the country.
