The IAAR Director takes part in the General Assembly of CEENQA (Krakow, Poland)

Director of the Independent agency for accreditation and rating (IAAR) participates in the General Assembly of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in higher education (CEENQA), which takes place on 13-14 May 2016 in Krakow (Poland). Forum is co-organized by the Polish Accreditation Committee.

At the General Assembly, the IAAR Director has made a report on the activities of the Agency as a new member of CEENQA. At her speech, Alina Zhumagulova spoke about the achievements of the agency on national and international levels, cooperation with international networks and accreditation agencies and strategic development plan for 2016-2020 years. It was emphasized, that the IAAR's development strategy for 2016-2020 years is designed by taking into account the national policies and legislation in the field of education. In order to achieve the strategic objectives, a priority is appropriateness of the Agency accreditation procedures to the ESG requirements, as well as policy of European networks for quality assurance.

In conclusion, the IAAR Director noted that the quality of higher education is a priority of the IAAR, whereby the transparency of management of the education system, public participation, clarity and objectiveness of procedures have become distinctive feature of the independent quality assurance system of Kazakhstan.
