Forum “Ensuring Quality of Higher Education: State and Prospects of Development”

On January 29, 2024 IAAR General Director – Zhumagulova A.B. and Advisor - Yanovskaya O.A. took part in the Forum “Ensuring Quality of Higher Education: State and Prospects of Development” of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which was held on the basis of the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana.
At the Plenary Session of the Forum, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, made a welcoming speech, which focused on topical issues of the education quality and increasing the competitiveness of educational services. Within the framework of the Forum, thematic sessions were held on improving the internal quality assurance system, improving the training of scientific personnel and developing the state regulation system of the sphere of higher and postgraduate education, as well as a workshop on the topic: “New approaches to carrying out control activities.”
Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of accreditation bodies, rectors and vice-rectors of higher educational institutions of the republic and representatives of the media took part in the Forum.
