CEENQA GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2022

The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) took part in the General Assembly of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA), which was held on September 23-24, 2022 in Istanbul. The host of the event was our partner Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Training Programmes (EPDAD, Republic of Türkiye).
More than 45 representatives from more than 20 countries of the region took part in the CEENQA General Assembly. CEENQA President Franci Demšar, ENQA President Douglas Blackstock, representative of the European University Association Enora Bennetot Pruvot, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YOKAK) Muhsin Kar and others presented at the event.
IAAR was represented by General Director – Dr. Alina Zhumagulova and Deputy General Director for International Cooperation – Dr. Timur Kanapyanov.
Members of the CEENQA General Assembly voted and decided to hold the annual meeting of the CEENQA General Assembly in 2023 in Astana hosted by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR).
In this occasion, we congratulate all our colleagues, the academic community, stakeholders and partners and will be happy to host the CEENQA General Assembly in 2023 in Kazakhstan.
