IAAR took part in the WFME Round Table on Cross-Border Accreditation

On February 19, 2024, IAAR representatives took part in the virtual Round Table on Cross-Border Accreditation, organized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).
The Round Table was organized by WFME to discuss challenges and best practices in cross-border medical accreditation.
The Round Table was attended by WFME President Professor Ricardo León-Bórquez, representatives of the WFME secretariat, and other international agencies that are recognized by WFME in more than 6 countries around the world.
IAAR shared its experience in accreditation activities in 12 countries (Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Ukraine, Romania, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Azerbaijan, State of Palestine, Dominica), where IAAR has WFME official recognition.
WFME President Professor Ricardo León-Bórquez noted the importance of working together to ensure the quality of medical education according to WFME standards.
