Results of the EHEA Ministerial Conference in Paris: institutional development of Kazakhstani universities - a vision until 2020

On November 2, 2018 Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating Alina Zhumagulova, Advisor on Strategic Development Gulnar Iskakova and Chief Specialist of the Information and Analytical Project Nurgul Kydyrmina, Chairman of the Expert Council Marina Skiba participated in the seminar “Results of the EHEA EHEA Ministerial Conference in Paris: institutional development of Kazakhstani universities - a vision until 2020". The seminar was organized by the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility Center under the MES RK and hosted by the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Making a presentation on “Accreditation - a factor in improving the quality of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the director of the IAAR spoke about changes in the educational and scientific activities of universities that have passed the accreditation procedure. The seminar focused on such issues of quality assurance in higher education as the development of mutual trust, increasing academic mobility and recognition of qualifications and periods of study.
