On November 18, 2021, IAAR held a webinar to prepare student experts of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency for the EEC visit to educational organizations. The webinar was attended by 20 students from Russian and Kazakh universities, including students from Kazakhstan recommended by the Alliance. The speakers of the webinar were Iskakova Gulnar Kozhagulovna, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Advisor for Strategic Development of IAAR, Kanapyanov Timur Yerbolatovich, Doctor of PhD, Deputy General Director for International Cooperation of IAAR, Kereeva Tansholpan, expert student of IAAR, master student of Aktobe Regional University. K. Zhubanova. Based on the ESG quality assurance standards and student-centered learning, the webinar discussed the principles and stages of international accreditation of educational organizations / educational programs, the requirements for IAAR expert activities, the role of student experts in the external expert commission. In an interactive mode, work was carried out with 3 cases: Understanding the standards and criteria for specialized accreditation by IAAR; Business game: conducting interviews with focus groups during a visit to an educational organization; Work with reports on self-assessment of the educational organization and development of recommendations for improvement. Working with cases allowed students to develop specific skills and competencies to work as an IAAR expert.
