The first meeting of partners of the Erasmus project + 598377-EPP-1 -2018-1 -IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP “Universities of Kazakhstan for improving quality assurance processes in teaching using new technologies” KUTEL was held at the University of Guglielmo Marconi (Rome, Italy ).

The meeting was attended by foreign partners: Burgas Free University (Burgas, Bulgaria), University of Turku (Turku, Finland), Greek Open University (Patras, Greece); 6 universities from Kazakhstan: International University of Information Technologies, Almaty University of Energy and Communications, Zhezkazgan University named after O. A. Baikonurov, Kokshetau University named after Abai Myrzakhmetov, Kostanai State Pedagogical Institute and Kokshetau State University named after A. Sh. Ualikhanov; non-academic partners of the project: Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, IAAR and the Public Fund "Youth Fund of the Leader of the Nation".

The meeting was of an organizational and methodological nature. On the first day, the important tasks of the project, the timing of their implementation and responsible partners were considered, about which the leaders of the project told: the University of Guglielmo Marconi and the International University of Information Technologies. The project partners discussed organizational issues for planning further activities and observing the timeframe for the project.

The second day of the meeting was devoted to monitoring the state of management in the universities of Kazakhstan, all Kazakhstani partners prepared presentations, told about the achievements and problems in their universities. During this meeting, the grant holder of the project agreed with all partners on further work in the project, talked about the specific results of the project and the prospects for the effective work of each university.
