For the first time, the international Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) accredited the leading Russian universities - the Federal Russian State Hydrometeorological University (RSHU, St. Petersburg) and the Federal Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Standards and requirements of the IAAR fully comply with the European standards for the quality of education ESG and the standards of the World Federation for Medical Education - WFME.
Today, the positions of the IAAR are the result of the effective development and steady growth of the agency’s potential in the quality assurance of education both at the national and foreign levels.
By a decision of the IAAR Accreditation Council of December 20, 2019, the Russian State Hydrometeorological University was accredited for a period of 5 years and the Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was accredited for a period of 5 years.
Today, the Russian State Hydrometeorological University (RSHU, St. Petersburg) is the only university in Russia that provides a complex of education in the field of hydrometeorology, rational nature management and environmental protection, and is training specialists for working in the North, Siberia and the Far East.
Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is one of the oldest universities in Russia, occupying a leading position among universities, providing multilevel training of specialists for the healthcare system for 205 years. Today, Kazan State Medical University, Federal State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education, is part of the TOP 10 best Russian universities.
