On March 29, 2024, an interactive seminar was held on the topic: “Internal quality assurance system of higher education: a view from all sides”, organized by the Higher Education Development National Center  (hereinafter - HEDNC) together with Astana IT University, in which the General Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating Zhumagulova A.B. and Advisor Yanovskaya O.A. took part.

At the seminar, Alina Zhumagulova made a presentation: “Interaction of internal and external quality assurance systems in higher education: the view of an accreditation body,” where she spoke about the agency’s experience and modeling the interaction of the “quality triad”: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Accreditation Agencies and Universities.

As part of the seminar, there was a presentation of the Laboratory for Quality Assurance of Higher Education Development National Center and the monograph “The Quality Assurance System of Higher Education: Reengineering the National Model”, the team of authors of which spoke about scientific approaches to the concept of quality assurance of education and paid great attention to public administration in ensuring quality in the republic.

The seminar was attended by Director of the Higher Education Development National Center  Y.N. Makash, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Dzharasova G.S., Head of the Department of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Saparbekova E.K., as well as heads of departments for quality assurance of educational programs of higher and (or) postgraduate education.
