Seminar Training on Professional Development of the IAAR Experts in Medical and Pharmaceutical Education

On March 3, 2020, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating conducted on the basis of S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University a seminar for advanced training and training of experts of the Agency on basic and postgraduate medical education. Lecturer of the training seminar, Special Advisor to the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), Professor Janet Grant acquainted the seminar participants - faculty and staff of medical HEIs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic - with the WFME International Standards, their structure and content, aimed at improving the quality of educational programs of basic medical education, as well as with the procedure for conducting self-assessment and evaluation of educational programs according to the WFME standards.
The training seminar was held at a high substantive and organizational level and received a positive response from its participants.
