On March 18, 2024, a meeting of the Commission in the field of the quality assurance in education of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (hereinafter referred to as the CIS) was held, in which the General Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, Alina Zhumagulova, took part. At the meeting of the Commission, a model for the quality assurance of higher education institutions in the CIS countries was presented, and issues on the development of common approaches to the quality assurance of higher education were discussed. The meeting was attended by members of the Council and representatives from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the CIS Executive Committee and invited persons.
