Participation of IAAR in the IREG 2022 Warsaw Conference "Academic Rankings at the Crossroads"

On June 23-24, 2022, the IREG 2022 conference was held in Warsaw (Poland), where the issues of the impact of Rankings on higher education, the strengths and weaknesses of ranking as a tool for assessing higher education, and the future of global rankings were discussed. The President of IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence - Luiz C. Costa and the Rector of Warsaw University (Poland) - Alojzy Nowak delivered a welcoming speech. At the discussion platform of the IREG 2022 conference, international experts expressed their opinion on the issues of internationalization of education and the globalization of science, the value and mission of higher education in the near future. Nazyrova G.R., a representative of IAAR, the project manager for the formation of an external expert commission, took part in the conference.
