The Annual Conference, organized by the CHEA and CIQG, is being held in Washington, USA

The Annual Conference, organized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the International Quality Group (CIQG), is being held in Washington, USA, from January 27 to 30, 2025. The General Director of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), A. Zhumagulova, is participating in this significant event.

CHEA President Cynthia Jackson Hammond delivered a welcome speech to the participants. The conference also featured speeches from Olgun Çiçek, a member of the CIQG, as well as directors of accreditation agencies and presidents of leading American universities.

The conference included several concurrent sessions focusing on key issues related to improving the accreditation system, such as identifying threats and opportunities, analyzing student learning outcomes to enhance the quality of higher education, and discussing the role of artificial intelligence in the educational process, among other relevant topics.

More than 300 representatives from 46 countries attended the conference, highlighting the high level of international cooperation in higher education and accreditation.
