IAAR webinar within the KUTEL project

On June 21-29, 2021, a series of webinars on quality assurance in education “Improving quality assurance processes in education through the use of new technologies” was launched as part of the KUTEL project of the Erasmus + programme.
On June 21, 2021, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) started a series of webinars "External Quality Assurance - Standards and Guidelines". The purpose of the webinars is to disseminate the results of the KUTEL project at the national level to improve the quality of education through the use of advanced TEL technologies and increase the competitiveness of educational services of universities in Kazakhstan.
A welcoming speech is made by G. Jarasova, The Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Prof. O. Yanovskaya, Advisor to IAAR General Director, made a presentation on the topic "Accreditation as a Mechanism for Higher Education Quality Assurance". IAAR manager of information and analytical project, Dr. N. Kydyrmina presented the report "Defining and Developing a Procedure for External Quality Assurance as a Driving force for Organisational Development and Cultural Change". Dr. T. Kanapyanov, IAAR Deputy General Director for International Cooperation, made a report on the topic "Mainstreaming TEL quality criteria and principles in the Quality Framework for HE - challenges and barriers".
The webinar has attracted great interest from the academic community. The event was attended by over 220 people. All the questions were provided with comprehensive answers at the end of the webinar.
