Peer Review

The type of review is blind. The decision on the publication of articles in the journal is based on blind reviews by independent scholars, including those from abroad. The reviewer should correspond to the scientific direction of the article and is responsible for the content of the published article. The review is provided to the author of the article without specifying information about the reviewers.

Reviewing (expert evaluation) of manuscripts of scientific articles for publication in the journal is carried out to maintain a high scientific level of the publication and to select the most relevant and promising scientific works.

After receiving the article, it is assessed for compliance with formatting requirements, the profile of the journal, and the relevance of the article to the thematic section. Based on the results of the assessment, the article may be sent back to the author for revision.

Articles are provided to reviewers without specifying information about the author(s).

The review should include a qualified analysis of the article material, an objective, reasoned assessment and justified recommendations.

The review should reflect:

  • whether the content of the article corresponds to the topic stated in the title;
  • the relevance of the topic;
  • novelty, main research results;
  • the structure and logic of the article presentation;
  • the accessibility of the article material to readers in terms of language, style, material arrangement, clarity of tables, diagrams, figures and formulas;
  • what shortcomings, corrections and additions are proposed by the reviewer for the author to make;
  • the reviewer's recommendations (recommended for publication, recommended for publication with corrections indicated by the reviewer or not recommended for publication in the journal).

If the review contains recommendations for correcting and revising the article, it is sent to the author with a proposal to take them into account when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them reasonably.

In the case of a positive review and recommendation of the manuscript for publication, the manuscript is included in the portfolio of texts accepted for publication, from which the journal issue is formed.

An article not recommended for publication by the reviewer is not accepted for reconsideration.
